The Art of Nourishment with Dr. Siva Mohan

This weekend retreat is an invitation to explore your relationship with food in a deeper, more intentional way. Through self assessment, hands-on experiences, and guided practices, we’ll look at how to optimize our food choices for our changing needs, both physical and emotional.

What's super yummy is that we'll heal our relationship with food on a regenerative farm with amazing organic food buzzing with life force.

We’ll explore

  • Understanding nourishment – How to make food choices that align with your body’s needs and rhythms.
  • Mindful eating – Practices to cultivate awareness around meals and reconnect with the sensory experience of food.
  • Practical wisdom – Simple ways to navigate what, when, and how to eat, rooted in both modern nutrition and traditional Ayurvedic principles.
  • Community and conversation – A space to share, learn, and reflect on personal experiences with food and nourishment.

This retreat is for anyone looking to refine their understanding of eating well, find more ease in their food choices, and deepen their connection to what nourishes them—inside and out.

Airports

If you would like to stay in the incredible Mexico city before or after the retreat, the best airport is AICM (Benito Juarez International Airport). If you are simply flying into the area for the retreat only, the closest airport is Toluca (TLC) which is a regional airport with less routes, but is an hour closer.

Transportation Included

On the morning of the retreat, around 9/10am, we will pick you up at either one of the airports above, or your hotel in Mexico City.

On departure day, we will transport you to either airport or your hotel in Mexico city or hotel in Valle de Bravo. Departure is around noon.

Mexico city is about a 3 hour drive from the lush Valle de Bravo (including traffic), and TLC airport is about a 2 hour drive. We contract a reliable private transportation company.

Hotels

I highly encourage you to stay in Valle de Bravo or Mexico City area. There are several cultural and nature day trips from Mexico City, and the city itself is a haven for food and arts, with Uber and metro so easy to get around. My favorite areas to stay are the Roma and Condesa neighborhoods. If you'd like to stay at our retreat estate, Valle Paralelo, for additional days, that is also a lovely option. Please note that transportation is only included to and from the estate on arrival and departure days.

For places to stay in Mexico city, there are great options on Airbnb and every hotel brand from boutique to corporate, so you can choose what suits your tastes.
